Begin your journey south toward Khor Virap Monastery, one of Armenia’s most iconic landmarks, offering breathtaking views of Mount Ararat—a moment every traveler remembers.

Continue to the Areni-1 Cave, home to the world’s oldest known winery. Enjoy a tasting of local wines and a traditional lunch, surrounded by history that dates back over 6,000 years.

In the afternoon, unwind at the Shaki Waterfall, where cascading waters and fresh mountain air provide a refreshing close to the day.

Soar above a dramatic canyon on the Tatev cable car, the longest in the world, before exploring the magnificent Tatev Monastery, a jewel of medieval Armenian architecture perched on the edge of the cliffs.

Later, step into another world at Khndzoresk, an ancient cave village connected by a swinging suspension bridge—where history, adventure, and nature collide.

The day commences with a drive across the Selim Pass, offering remarkable alpine scenery. Upon arrival, you will visit the historic Selim Caravanserai, an important monument of Silk Road heritage.

Following this, you will be welcomed at the Mikayelyan family farm, where you will receive a guided tour of the facilities. A tasting of the farm’s esteemed cheeses, accompanied by honey and seasonal fruit, will be provided, followed by lunch on the premises.

In the afternoon, you will enjoy a cruise on Lake Sevan, allowing time to appreciate the tranquillity of the lake and the surrounding mountain landscape. The programme continues with a visit to Sevanavank Monastery, perched on a peninsula and offering expansive panoramic views.

At the conclusion of the day, you will be transferred to Dilijan, where you will spend the night.
